In a world full of alternative therapies why is it so important to keep up with it?

Massage Therapy can help with many different things that may go on in your body and your life style. Massage therapists are there for you when you may live a fast lifestyle where adventures and sports are really important also we are there for you when accidents and surgeries happen as well. We are here for you through it all!

There are many forms of  alternative medicines that may be seen as holistic and natural forms of medicine or therapies. Eastern medicine has grown into a wide variety of types of therapies that have been proven to be effective since the beginning of time. Some of the forms of therapies include Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic, Hypnotherapy, Massage Therapy, Reiki, and Yoga Therapy; In combination with Western forms of therapy and medicine you can take charge of your health and your body.

There are many different types of massage techniques which your body can benefit from, (sometimes we like to mix a few of them together to give you the most out of your session). Massage techniques range from Energy work, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Cupping, Integrative Body work, Reiki or even more of the rare known techniques like Tui Na, lymphatic massage or Shiatsu. With every different technique there are many different benefits which help you in your life.

In a world with so much variety how do you know what you need to stay healthy? The first thing that we as massage therapists tell our clients is WATER, WATER, WATER!  Drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day can help your body restore and replenish the cells in your body as well as help your organs function properly. Depending on your lifestyle it is important to come in for a massage at least every month to help get your body back into tip shop shape. It usually takes about two weeks for your body to go back to its normal routine and habits.

Here are some tips to remember with Massage:

  1. Drink water

  2. Exercise Daily

  3. Eat healthier

  4. Get massage monthly

Try it out and get your body in to see a massage therapist today!
